PSCB - Customization (Power Teacher Student Stats)

Description

This customization adds a Student Stats link to Student Screens menu in PowerTeacher.

The Student Stats page is an update to the Student Stats plugin previously published by Brian Andle and includes the following.

• A graph showing a Current Grades Comparison using the current term display preference.
The graph compares the student's average, the class average and the course average for all currently enrolled classes. The graph will only show classes that are set to be stored.

• A Daily Attendance Summary listing Days Absent, Days Tardy, Days Present, Days Membership and Days Enrolled.

• A graph comparing YTD Daily Attendance totals for Present, Tardy and Absent.

Comments

Thank you for all you do. These reports and custom pages make my life so much easier.
There is a small typo though on the page - Comparison is misspelled as "Comparsion"

Hi Ive connected the plugin, but I cannot see the student stats drop down when I follow the steps. Thanks

Please confirm that the plugin was enabled and the following special operation was performed.

Navigate to Start Page > System Administrator > Special Operations
Run Rebuild Custom Page Links

I have installed the plug in and run the special operation. I do get the page in the drop down on the teacher side, but there are no stats there. Is this based on current grades or is it based on stored grades. I do get attendance even though we are meeting and not daily.

Thanks

The stats section uses current grades from the PT Pro grade book. You will not see data if you are using the older PT Gradebook.

At the top of the page is a filter to select the store code. Choose the current store code to view results.

We are 100% PT Pro grade book. I have played with the stored code and I am still not seeing any stats when logged in as a teacher.
Is there something else I can try.

Thanks so much

Check the Quick Lookup Preferences to confirm that the store codes you want teachers to view have been enabled.

Also confirm that the PSCB Base Resources plugin is installed and enabled.

Quick Lookup preferences are set as needed. Base Resources plugin is installed and enabled. I have several of your reports that I use that are fabulous and I know those work. I also have the admin side student stats and it works as well. Admin loves it.
Not sure where to go from here.

I am having the same issue! Looking for a resolve--LOVE this feature and so will the teachers once I can get it functioning for them.
