Can the "Attendance Changes" screen work for Meeting Attendance?

The Attendance Changes - Meeting page is currently under development. It will be included in the next update of the PSCB Customization (Std Att Pages) plug-in. Scheduled release date is set for the end of July.

After install, the 18-19 tab doesn't show the correct number of calendar days, and individual absences, although listed on the 18-19 screen, are not being included in the totals.

Are the plugins with PSCB only for the state of NJ or should they work for any PowerSchool district? I installed the base and then installed the Student Attendance plugin. It showed all of my years except 2017-2018 and the current year, 2018-2019. What would cause that?

PSCB plugins are designed to work for all school districts. The Student Attendance Info page should display the 18-19 tab on the start date for the 2018-2019 school year.

What are your school start dates for 2017-2018 and 2018-2019?

I'm loving the idea of this plugin but as it is right now, my schools just won't get a lot from it.
-One thing is the date tabs are very confusing. It looks like tabs only appear for students who have or had absences reported during a tabbed year. It would be nice if all tabs for all year showed for every student regardless if they had absences/lates or not.
-Another thing would be nice if we could have the option to turn off the Meeting Attendance Points tab completely since our county does not use attendance points.
-Lastly, is the whole reason I installed this in the first place was to be able to view Attendance Changes that you mentioned earlier was in development. I actually think I'm going to disable this plugin and wait until an upgrade comes out that will be more user friendly for my county.

The next release of the PSCB - Customization (Student Attendance Pages) plugin will include an update to the year tabs display. The update will be published next week.

The latest release (version 1.4) was published on 7/20/18 and includes your recent enhancement request.
The Attendance Changes page now lists all daily and meeting attendance changes. The list can also be sorted by attendance type.

There are no current plans to provide an option for turning off the Attendance Points page.

Thanks for your continued input. Very much appreciated.

We are trying to run the report for those are chronically absent, but it is pulling students that have been unenrolled from school, but we need to be able to save their attendance data. Are we able to have this report filter so that only students with an enrollment status as 0 pull? Thank you!

Question 1: I just upgraded to v1.5 of this plugin on my test site, and although I'm seeing absences from 18-19 when I click on the "Attendance Info" from the leftnav, I don't see a tab for it. I don't see a tab for 17-18 at all. I do, however, have years and data for both. Am I missing something? I have v1.6 of the Base Resources.

Question 2: Is there a way to disable the Attendance Info from view for certain security groups without using a page fragment to hide it?

Question 1
Tabs should appear for all years the student was enrolled at school in the district. Are missing year tabs occurring for all students or just a few?

Question 2
You can use Page Permissions to determine which security groups have access to the Attendance Info Page.

We have installed PSCB - Customization (Std Att Pages) The tab and attendance information for 17-18 is missing for most students. The tab and attendance information for 17-18 displays only for students who were new students in 17-18. It is missing for students who were enrolled before 17-18 and continue to be enrolled.
(It is a GREAT report is the missing tab can be restored.)

I have not seen the issue you have described in any of 30+ school districts that test the PSCB reports. If you want you can send me an email request and we could schedule a conference call for next week to explore the issue in greater detail.

I need to know how to get access to Blue Steel CPM. I do not know what the login is.

Does anyone know why some students will show a negative number under "Days absent" and other will show a whole number?

We also have students who are showing say a -2 under "Days absent" but do not have any absent codes entered.

I am trying to install this plugin and I am getting the message that several pages it is installing already exist. Is there a previous plugin with a different name that this is updating?

You need to manually delete the indicated files from CPM before installing the plugin.

I looked at code in att_daily.html
I may have found an error in line 77 below Begin Dynamic Year Tabs

Line is "SELECT TO_CHAR(EntryDate, 'YY') - CASE WHEN To_Number(To_Char(EntryDate, 'MM')) BETWEEN 1 AND 7 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END AcaYera FROM reenrollments WHERE StudentID = ~(curstudid))"

In other lines the name is "AcaYear"

Obviously, I do not know much...

Thank you noting the typo in the att_daily.html file. The error has been corrected.

The PSCB - Customization (Student Attendance Pages) plugin has been updated to version 1.6. Please let me know if this latest release addresses the issue you encountered.

I noticed that the same typo appeared in att_meeting.html in v1.6. I corrected this typo in the Plugin v1.6 before I installed. (I had deleted v1.5 before installation.) The result is the same. The 17-18 tab displays only for students whose first year of school enrollment is 17-18. It is missing for all students who were enrolled before 17-18 and continue to be currently enrolled. I have looked in our Reenrollment table. I do not see any differences in these students records. If it works for all others, it must be our unique issue.

Thank you for looking at this. Happy Thanksgiving.

This report looks great except all our students have absences showing even if they've not missed any days for the year - and there are no absences entered in meeting attendance either. Where are these absences pulling from? It appears to be adding 4 absences to every student in our middle and high school (they use both meeting and daily)

Check your Calendar setup for days that are configured incorrectly.

Review the Calendar Setup for the following :

Cycle Day
Bell Schedule
School In Session
Membership Value
