Hi Rob,
Hi Rob,
I just tested and was unable to have the attendance history page active without the attendance being enabled first in Parent/Student Access, so it can't be done I am assuming. Can you please let me know if I am doing something wrong? We do not want parents to see the meeting attendance for our elementary students.

Hi Rob,
Hi Rob,
EPP has been deleted. Schedule requests setting was on Edit. The entire icon from the panel disappears just by enabling the plugin. Does this have anything to do with your notes:
The initial release will not include:
Demographics Update version
Sched_AllowRequests field option
Language Translations
What is strange is that it is appearing for one school that does not have course requests for 20-21 set up, but is not appearing in our high school which has course requests currently being worked on for 20-21.
Please advise.
Thank you,
Julie

Thank you, Rob! The request
Thank you, Rob! The request screens were all set up but were not enabled yet. What was confusing was that the Class Registration link was still appearing on the middle school page, but maybe that was because their 20-21 request screens were not set up yet--the previous course requests were showing.

Student Directory
Hi I am currently trying to add a custom Student Directory for the parent portal. Has anyone tried to do this for their district? I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions! We would just want to display students who have selected "Yes" for a custom field we created that grants permission to be in the directory and for the student's school only. Then we would need to pull basic student info and custom demographic fields.
Is this something that anyone has tried to do?

If you previously used the EPP plugin, confirm that all files from that plugin have been removed.
Using CPM, navigate to the admin/schoolsetup/ folder and confirm that you see the following customized files.
cpp_settings.html
parent_student_settings_fbss.pscb.content.footer.txt
parent_student_settings_general.pscb.content.footer.txt
If the CPP Settings tab is still not visible, it could be the result of another customization.

love this plugin (custom public portal) ... but ...
Hi PSCB team.... Rob Staats, Manjit Basra, Michael Moore, et al! I just installed this plug-in and love it. However, one quick issue I hope you can guide me to fix!
The historical grades is not calculating the EARNED CREDITS correctly. The Sem 1 and Sem 2 grades are displaying correctly. All the grades are displaying correctly but instead of 1.0 earned credits, it is only displaying .50 earned credits.
Also, is there a way to add-in the historical grades from the other schools. The transfer-in grades for our uppper school students are not displaying on the historical grades page.
Please help.

Hi Rob,
Hi Rob,
yes, I did see the Transfer-in Grades (grades from other schools) on the Grade History page. I like the layout on the historical grades page better but since it does not include transfer-in grades, I will close that one and use only the Grade History page.
Regarding the Earned Credit. Yes, the year long classes are displaying correctly on the Admin side and on the student transcript. We assign each semester .50 credits. The credits also display correctly (.50 per semester or 1 credit for full year classes) on the transcript.
But they are displaying as .00 on the Grade History page. (The credits are displaying as .50 for the year long classes on the Historical Grades page but we have closed that since we use the Grade History page).
I tried to include a screen shot into this reply but am not able to!

Demographics Page
hi PSCB team!
I love the demographics page of your plug-in! The legal name, gender, school and district entry dates are not populating. I'll try and figure out where that information should be populated so it will display.
I read somewhere that you are considering allowing update ability a future release and wanted to offer some input. It looks like the address is pulling from the student's address page which contains a home and mailing address fields.
It's disappointing that we cannot display this demographics page yet! You see, we have students with two households at our school. We populate the household 1 address in the 'home address' fields and populate household 2 in the 'mailing address' fields.
It would be very disappointing, frustrating and alarming to the other parent if they did not see their household address listed.
I'll continue watching your site to see what's included in your future releases.

Contacts - first page
I just installed this and of course it AWESOME!!. I am checking out all the settings and came across this. At the very bottom you can choose what page the parents see first. I saw the contacts (OMG YES!!!). But when we test it. There is not the page that comes up, but an error on the parents' side that states this page is not available. It is ref'ing this page /guardians/contact.html... I could not find it and there is no link inside my parent portal for a contacts page either. Demographic, yes.

Custom Reports/Contacts
First off, THANK YOU, for this report bundle! I literally felt like it was Christmas when I opened the report portal.
May I ask, in reviewing the Students-Contacts Mailing List, the report is not pulling the current address for those students who have moved. For example, on the contacts page if we have entered an end date for a previous address and entered a new address it is not pulling the most current address.
Is this something that can be fixed?

Course registration
Thank you for this update to the portal! One item that works differently than the old portal is course registration. In the past, we would allow middle school parents and student to View the selections without submitting. When I changed to "View", the message reads that there are no courses selections to display. "Edit" works well and I'm thinking the View will work after some selections have been submitted. Any change the view before selections can display the course registration screen?

Icon Appearing Twice & An Error Message
Let me start by saying I'm a new PS SIS Admin this school year. I recently learned there are several plugins from PSCB installed in our system.
I updated the PSCD - Base Resources to v3.0 (from v2.0) without incident.
I then installed PSCB - Custom Public Portal v2.3. This caused duplicate icons of 'Next Years Schedule' to appear, and the 'Class Registration' to not appear. Further, when an icon is clicked, the number of icons decreases and the 'Class Registration' icon appears. Lastly, when the 'Class Registration' icon is selected, an error message of "The school has disabled access to this student's data" is displayed even though everything is set correctly in PowerScheduler.
The underlying reason for these to be updated is that our incoming 7th graders (into middle school from elementary) are unable to register for classes if we leave customizations turned on. PS has stopped working on the trouble ticket as they have said it's caused by a customization. Any ideas/thoughts that could help clear this issue would be greatly appreciated.
A quick side question, there are several plugins which look similar to PSCB plugins, but they do not have PSCB at the start of the name (Custom Reports Bundle - Attendance, Enrollment, Grading, etc.) and all with a version number of 4.1.X. Are these also PSCB plugins or are they from someone else?
Thank you for any information you could provide for me to better understand the plugins I have installed and maintaining them.

1. The issues you encountered are due to conflicts with previously installed PDS plugins. The older plugins are no longer supported by the original developers. They should be removed from your server and replaced with the current PSCB plugins which are updates to the previous plugins you have installed.
2. You also need to the install the PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page) plugin.
