Tried installing this plug in and get errors:

Plugin File contains a file that already exists: web_root/guardian/nextyearschedule.html

Hi Rob, thanks again for all of these PSCB Reports and Customizations. You have no idea how much we appreciate them.
I've installed and enabled this plugin and everything is working fine except I'm not getting anything to populate in the grades section. It does for the Report Card Plugin on the admin side. I would think they pull the same info but I'm lost. I deleted the older version and installed 2.4 but that didn't do it either.
Thanks

Please confirm the following.

- The grades from the teacher gradebook have been stored.
- Navigate to Setup / School / Parent/Student Access/ CPP Page Settings / Enter CPP Report Card preferences.
- Confirm that your Report Card - Grading Terms are entered correctly and the display boxes are checked.

Rob, those steps have all been done and no grades appearing. I have the other sections, attendance, comments but nothing is showing for grades.
Thanks

Jknopp, I was having the same issue and discovered that because one of the six terms had not been stored (in my case, it was S2), none of the grades appeared. Once I unchecked S2, the rest (Q1, Q2, S1, Q3, Q4) were displayed.

If you would like to arrange a conference call or zoom session to discuss this issue, you can contact at pscb.development@gmail.com

I was able to install this plug in and customize it for one school - I am wondering if there is a way to add the report to the print mass screens or add it to the report menu.

Thank you,

Ellen Clifford

PSCB is exploring methods for mass printing the report cards for a selected group of students.

The PSCB - Public Portal installation guide has been updated. Thanks for bringing this our attention.

When a student or parent logs in, they are missing a term in the historical grades. 18-19 and 19-20 show but 17-18 does not.

Yes they do have stored grades for 17-18. These grades were imported in last year. 17-18 and 18-19 stored grades were imported. 19-20 was PowerSchool. 17-18 are the only ones not showing.

At the District Level navigate to Start Page > District Setup > Schools/School Info > Edit School.

Confirm that the Historical Grade Levels (only historical data in this range of grade levels is used for cumulative GPAs, graduation credit, etc.) are set to 9 - 12.

Also. Navigate to: Start Page > School Setup > Years & Terms.

I have verified at the District Level our school is 9-12.
I also verified that we school years built:

I am sorry but the school year was not created on the District side. I created it and it works perfectly now. Again, I apologize.

This student was a student for her 9th and 10th grade years. She went to another school 11th grade and is now back. On her student record, I see all of her historical grades with school year, course name, grade level, earned credit and S1 and S2 grades. None of this shows up on her student portal. It is a blank screen. I checked other students and theirs is fine.

It appears that a course number is required. When adding transfer students, we don't always use a course number as we may not have it in our system. Is it possible for these courses to show without a course number?

PSCB is currently working on an update of this page that will display stored historical grades with no associated course number.

Good Morning...do you offer any customization options to be able to display a student's track in their Parent/Student portal?

Yes. Jason Springel has created a "Show Hybrid Schedule Info in Parent Portal" plugin.

It is available for download at PowerSource

Thank you for the reply...I read the information on the plug in but am not seeing where we can individually identify each student's track in their own parent/student portal. Am I missing it?

If you install and enable the plugin, there is a setup page where you can enable an option to display student track.

Thank you very much

Great plugin! I am continually asked about the possibility of students and parents printing their own unofficial transcript in the portal. Right now, we print the transcript and send via email through Bright Arrow. Is this something that is on the roadmap for the team?

Thanks,
Dan

Sorry. PSCB has no plans to develop an unofficial transcript for the parent portal.

I have not used this new Plugin for Parent/Student Portal. We are using ECollect Forms for online registration (new this year). Anyone using this plugin, do you use ECollect? Do the forms show up correctly for the parents?
I would like to go to this plugin but hesitate for the fear of losing any data that our parents have completed.

Can any of the developers advise on the ECollect Forms question?

The PSCB - Custom Public Portal plugin does not conflict with ECollect Forms.

Hi, I'd like the ability to hide the Score from the guardian/scores and Score and Percent from guardian/classassignments. I've tried hiding the guardian.scores.score column, but I think other customizations of this page are interfering with this modification (We are using MBA RCC and Alert Solutions plugins as well as CPP).

For some strange reason, I have to copy-paste "admin/schoolsetup/cpp_settings.html" into my URL in order to find and set up our options. If I follow the instructions to go to thru the "school -> Parent/Student Acces" I can't see the link.
Any help, much appreciated.

After installing and enabling the plugin you should see a CPP Page Settings tab on the Parent/Student Access page.

If the tab is not visible, try clearing your browser cache or use another web browser.

Are there plans to update this plugin so that the Report Card Daily Attendance option reports YTD enrollment and present numbers, rather than using the entry/exit date? The Report Card for Admin plugin was corrected. Hoping to see this in the custom public portal setup as well.

The Public Portal version of the Student Report is currently being updated. It is scheduled for release in early November.

This is fantastic! I got it working for our district, but I did have one question: Is the report card visible on PowerTeacher anywhere? Thanks!

The student report card is not currently available in PowerTeacher. This request has been added to the PSCB enhancement list.
