Description

This bundle includes 6 Contacts reports.

Contacts - Duplicates
(View Duplicate Contacts list.)

Contacts - Phone Number Search
(Search all contact phone numbers for a partial or complete phone number match.)

Contacts - Students List
(Lists contacts information and associated students. )

Students - Contacts Access List
(View a list of students whose contacts have/have not accessed their accounts for a selected date range. )

Students - Contacts Address List
(Lists contacts address information for each student. )

Students - Contacts List
(Lists contacts information for each student. )

Additional Plugin Requirement

The following PSCB plugins should be installed prior to the installation of this reports bundle.

PSCB - Base Resources
PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page)

Installation

Install in System > System Settings > Plugin Management Configuration

Do not unzip the plugin. Install the entire zip file. Be sure to enable the plugin once it's installed.

If you are updating, you can now click on the Plugin name and then use the Update button, and then browse to the new file and click Submit and it will then load the update and then ask you to enable it.

Instructions

Select a school and go to the Powerschool start page.
Click on the PSCB Custom Reports link on the left navigation menu.
Click on the Contacts link to access the Contacts Reports menu.

I was testing it at a school with 53 students. I went back and did some further testing. It looks like if I choose "All Students" as the report filter selection... it never processes. It gets stuck at the loading screen. If go back to the home screen select all the students and then run the report with the "Current Selection (53)" filter selection it runs fine. Tested a few other smaller schools and the same thing happened.

Is there any upper limit to the total number of student selection you would suggest?

Hey there!

Big fan of all of your plugins.

Wondering if it would be feasible to add a "Make current student selection" option on these reports.

An example would be - the Contacts - Student List report.

I'm able to quickly search for say all Contacts who have @yahoo.com - and that shows me the associated contacts w/ students associated. But from there, I cannot make those students my selection if I wanted to work with only those students who have contacts associated with @yahoo.com

The Make Current Selection button is already included with these reports. Confirm that you have installed and enabled the following plugins.

When using the new UI in PowerSchool 20.4+ when you click on the contact name using the duplicate contact report it no longer opens the Contact consolidation screen.

First off, thank you so much for these fabulous reports! Contacts are such a bear (super helpful but a bear nonetheless), and these reports are a huge help when managing them.

My question is regarding the address line. The address line currently has the whole address on the one line so when you export, you need to split it up to be able to use it for mailing labels. In a future release, would it be possible to break up the address like it is in PS; Street in one column, city in one column, state in one column and zip in one column?

I tried to download the Students Incident Summary and it downloads the Historical Grades Tabs. I click on the view for the Students Incident Summary and it takes me to the Historical Grades Tabs.

I want the Students Incident Summary!

Hi, for the student access account related reports, can we add in the username? The email address of the user is there, but it would be more helpful to have the username so we can help troubleshoot quickly with families. Thanks!

Hi Guys,
Love this report but are the filters supposed to work . I chose Priority 1 as a filter and it did not update the display.

Also, a request would it be possible to have the export to csv added?

Wait for the report to display all records before making a priority selection.

After selecting a priority, it may take some time to render the results depending on the number of contact records listed.

The Export to CVS option already exists for the contacts reports.

Confirm that you have installed and enabled the PSCB - Base Resources 3.0 plugin.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the response. the filter does take time to render, I guess I am too impatient! I have base resources 3.0 install and enabled. I chose 6 students in test and tried the priority filter and it worked. Tried the same 6 students in production and the priority filter did not work. But the Export to CSV does not show at the top on production but shows on my test server. The only difference is that production is on 19.X and test is on 20.4. I thought, as well, that maybe another plugin was colliding with it, but there is the same plugins installed and enabled on test as to production excepting test server identification. Could this be it?

Thank you for PSCB customizations and Reports. I'm having an issue with "links" generated in Report Results not working with the "New Experience"
When the "New Experience" is enabled in PowerSchool version 20 and above; the links in the report results don't work...for example the Contacts link in the Duplicate Contacts report doesn't take you to the Contacts page...however; if you Disable New Experience in user's account settings...the links work again.

I installed the updated version of the report in hopes that it would resolve the issue with the Links to Contacts in the results would take you to the Contact on the Contacts page but issue still exists.

We noticed that these reports are only able to be run for active students not pre-registered or withdrawn. We have administrators wanting to be able to run this report for a selected group of students, but their enrollment status is (-1 or 2) and then the report is blank. If a future enhancement would be considered to pull the contact data for the selected group regardless of enrollment status would be much very much appreciated.
