I have installed/updated this plugin multiple times. We are using the Fees reports only from your PSCB plug ins. When Running the Fees List, occasionally all 3 options present; copy data, export csv, make current display. MOST of the time, only Copy Data displays with the results. But the Copy Data does not work. We need to move seamlessly from school to school, run the report(s), then output to Excel.

Please advise - we can't figure out a pattern of what to do to make the export csv reliably work. Or minimally, what can we do to make the copy data output option work consistently.

I am getting reports from many of my users that they can only see the Copy Data button, when I (as a Group 9 admin) can always see Copy Data, Export (two buttons), and Make Selection.

The HTML 5 Buttons for Copy Data, Export to CSV and Make Current Student Selection should appear on the Fees List and Transactions List Reports. I am not able to duplicate the issue you described at any other location that is using the Fees plugin.

What browser are you using? Have you tested the fee reports with aother browsers?

Please try the following.
Delete the Base Resources plugin.
Re-install the Base Resources plugin.
Download and install one of the other PSCB plugins (Misc would be a good option)
Run and test the HTML buttons with the reports bundle you choose.

If the buttons work in the other reports, we can explore the Fee reports issue further.

I uploaded PSCB- Base Resources and added entire plugin.xml then activate it. Add zip file, put pscb folder in web_root and put pscb_init.txt in wildcards. Where will I find the feature in PowerSchool? Do I need to add other customization files to make the base resources to work?

Ron Bye

The PSCB - Base Resources contains various scripts and images that are used in all PSCB customization and report plugins. In order to use the resources you need to install one of the PSCB Customization or Report Bundles.

I installed the base and home page plugins, the Enrollment and Scheduling (Current year) show up fine but I can't see the Historical Grades or Attendance reports. I do get the settings for attendance Codes, Meeting Attendance Codes and Grade Reporting Terms but the links for the reports do not show up.

Fran DiDavide

The links for Historical Grades and Student Attendance Pages are located on the student navigation menu.

Rob Staats

After installing the base for the bundle and several of the newer plugins I have not been able to access the reports. Now, it appears in the navigation but the configuration for meeting and daily attendance have been configured but not working.

Please confirm that the PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page) plugin has been installed and enabled. After confirmation, read the following.

PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page)

This plugin installs the following PSCB components.

(1) A folder entitled Reports_PSCB which houses all the PSCB Custom Report files.

(2) A PSCB Home Page which displays links to the menu page of each report bundle.
Note: When a PSCB Custom Reports bundle is installed, a menu link for that bundle is added to the Home Page.

(3) A PSCB Custom Reports link to the left navigation menu on the PowerSchool start page.

(4) Links to preference pages to be used in various PSCB reports.
Daily Attendance Codes
Meeting Attendance Codes
Grade Reporting Terms.

The preference pages are school based and preferences should be entered and saved for each school. Once completed, the preferences are use for the following reports.

PSCB Custom Reports - Daily Attendance Codes Setup
Attendance: Daily Attendance - Count / Points

SCB Custom Reports - Meeting Attendance Codes Setup
Attendance: Meeting Attendance - Count / Points

PSCB Custom Reports - Reporting Term Setup
Grading: Class - Grades Verification
Grading: Stored Grades - By Course/Teacher
Scheduling (Current Year): Sections - Details Report

I love the new html 5 buttons that are now available. I have a much older version of probably the oldest report bundle out there all of which hav ethe Flash based buttons. Since chrome is not supporting that coming soon, it is wonderful that you made this available!

Problem is - 3 or 4 of our highly utilzed reports (some even daily by several staff at all locations) have been highly customized and altered by staff before me and myself included.

I was wondering if there is an easy way to point an older report to use the newer Buttons by simply installing this package and pointing those 3 or 4 reports to use the newest TableTools buttons.

I am going to look into this myself - but wondered if this is something that sounds reasonable. And if so, do you have any advice?

Melissa A Dubbs

You can send a copy of the files you want modified to:

I will add the PSCB coding for the HTML 5 buttons to one of files. This will provide a model for modifying additional files.

Wow thanks Rob! Will get that out early tomorrow morning.

Melissa A Dubbs

Would you be willing to share what you updated in one of those old reports so that they use HTML 5 buttons? We still use many of those old time reports with the tabletools.

I updated the Base Resources and now I have 2 Custom Reports Tabs. Which wildcard/file do I edit to only have one

Doug Robertson

Delete all previous versions of the Base Resources plugin.
Install PSCB- Base Resources 3.0 which was published on PDS today.

PSCB Base Resources does not install or use a Custom Reports Tab. If the tab is being display it is the result of the installation of a non PSCB plugin.

I installed the Base Resources file followed by the Custom Report (attendenace) and I'm not seeing the link under the Reports tab on the Home page.

Your assistance with this is greatly appreciated.

Make sure you add PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page)

You need to install and enable the PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page) plugin.
When completed the PSCB Custom Reports link will appear in the left nav window.

Just updated the BASE Resources to 3.2 :) thank you.
When we print the List Students Screen, now "No Logo" appears when using Background Graphics ENABLED.
In Chrome, with Background Graphics Disabled, the text PowerSchool SIS does appear.
Prior to the update the PowerSchool Logo would print, but seemed to have a "white logo" layered on top of the colorful logo and it was a little odd. So I figured updating the Base resources would fix that.

NONE of this is an urgent request or anything - but if there is something i could do on my end - let me know.
Already Cleared Cache and used CTRL+F5.

Melissa A Dubbs

Nevermind, doesn't appear to have anything to do with that customization.
I am not sure where else to look though.

Melissa A Dubbs

I have installed the PCSB-Custom Report (_Home Page) v 3.3 and it's enabled.
This is what is in my system, enabled:
PSCB - Base Resources 3.3
PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page) 2.0
PSCB - Custom Reports (Schedule CY) 2.1
PSCB - Customization (PowerScheduler CR) 1.4
PSCB - Customization (PowerScheduler VR) 1.6
PSCB - Customization (Std Att Pages) 1.5
PSCB - Customization (Std Log Sum) 1.2
PSCB - Customization (Student DB) 1.1
PSCB - Customization PT (Att Report) 1.0
PSCB - Customization PT Pro (Class) 1.1
PSCB - Customization PT Pro (Students) 1.0
PSCB - Sections Report

I do not have the link that was suppose to appear. Not sure why?
I'm very new to this process.

Confirm that the plugin is enabled. If the PSCB Custom Reports menu link does display in the left nav frame, it indicates that you may have a customized more2.html file that is preventing the link from appearing. Use CPM to determine if a customized version exists.

Hello! I'm looking forward to using some of the excellent resources available on this site. I have a question though- the most recent version of Powerschool is 21... many of the plugins only mention older versions. Im not sure if thats just because the documentation hasnt been updated and that the plugins should continue to work with the current version of Powerschool? Thanks in advance for your reply--

All PSCB plugins are compatible with PowerSchool versions 20.x and 21.x.

Rob Staats

I have installed and enabled the base plugin (PSCB - Base Resources) but do not see the link under reports to the left. Any ideas why the link would not show? I also installed PSCB - Custom Reports (Attendance) to see if it needed a report to show the link.

I found the zip file for the homepage. I overlooked the plugin underneath the scxreenshots.

There is no link for PSCB - Base Resources. The resources are integrated into all PSCB customizations and reports. After running a report, the results page will include HTML buttons, sorting and filtering options.

Hi - after installing base resources 3.6 I am still receiving the blue circle after the page is rendered under the student's attendance screens

Same here - I was updated last night to PowerSchool 21.11. I have tried clearing cache, I restarted my computer did a hard refresh Ctrl Shift R, and nothing worked

3.6.1 (2022-01-10)
- Due to reported issues with PowerSchool 21.11+, the blue circle has been removed from the Base Resources plugin.

Thank you Rob! I appreciate it

Nancy L Van Volkenburg

Has anyone had any issues with losing the HTML 5 buttons while using PowerSchool SIS

When I updated the BASE RESOURCES to 3.6.1 today I lost all HTML 5 buttons.

Confirm that the PSCB- Base Resources plugin v3.62 has been enabled in the Plugin Management Dashboard.

Rob Staats
PSCB Development

It was. Strangely, it just took a few hours and started working. The HTML buttons are now back for all users.

Thank you. Everything is working flawlessly!

I have installed the Base Resource and the Home Page plug ins and I do not see the link for PSCB Reports on the Start Page for any school. Should I have installed the Reports Bundle zip file i complete? We were instructed at PSUG to open that zip file and install each report separately as we need them. Please let me know how to get the Home Page to appear.

I am not able to get past this error message when trying to install the PSCB - Custom Public Portal v3.4
PSCB - Custom Public Portal v3.4

Errors were found during plugin installation.

Plugin file contains a file that already exists: web_root/guardian/scores.pscb_cpp_finalgradesetup.content.footer.txt

You need to use CPM to navigate to the guardian folder and delete the listed file.
