Hello,
What are the changes in the new version?

Gloria Ormsby

Hi Rob, any thoughts of creating a report that would list student GPA?
I know that the honor roll report has GPA but that is for the honor roll students.
Just was questioned about that so I thought I'd reach out.
Thanks

Jack,
The report you described is currently under development. No scheduled release date at this time.

That would be awesome and much needed features for us too. Thank you for considering, Rob!

I have always used this, and just went through and installed all the updated ones...I no longer see the Custom Reports tab on my System Report Screen....what am I missing

CRB is the old custom reports bundle which is no longer supported the original developers. These reports have not been updated in 5 years and are considered obsolete.

The CRB bundle has been replaced by the PSCB - Custom Reports bundle. This bundle includes updates and enhancement to all of the original CRB plugins and the addition of numerous new reports. The PSCB Custom Reports link appears on left navigation menu on the Start Page.

I would suggest you consider migrating to the PSCB bundle.

Hello!
I inherited our PowerSchool and in my system I see the old Custom Reports Bundle is installed and still enabled as well as PSCB. I'm seeing the tab in the Reports menu. But not the NEW PSCB.
The CRB's that are currently enabled are 4.** (Attendance, Enrollment, Fees, Grading, Log, Misc, Security, Transportation, Validation and the Base.
The PSCB's that are currently enabled are Base Resources 2.3, Std Att Pages 1.5, Std Log Sum 1.2, Att Report 1.0, Student DB 1.0, PT Att Report 1.0, PT Pro Class 1.1, PT Students 1.0.
I was told there was also a PowerScheduler Recommendations Report and we no longer see it in PowerScheduler.
I've been teaching myself how to uninstall/install plugins.
Do I need to disable all of the old CRB? Again, both of these were already installed on the system I am working with and I'm not clear why, but I don't have a PSCB tab and I think some of the reports are missing that we could use in PSCB. Any guidance would be so helpful!
Thank you for your time!
Sylvia

Confirm that you have installed and enabled the following plugins.
PSCB - Base Resources 3.6.1
PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page) 2.0

When completed, a PSCB Custom Reports link will will appear on the left navigation menu on the Start Page.

Thank you Rob. I was able to disable the old CBR's and I installed the PSCB latest Base Resources and the Custom Reports (_Home Page) 2.0. I choose the reports I wanted added and installed them. The link did appear on the left pane of the start page, and I made sure everything was enabled. When I click it, the screen appears, but none of the reports.
Sylvia

I figured it out! Thanks!

Hello!

I am in a similar situation as Sylvia. I would like to upgrade to the current CRB. I deleted all of the Plugins from the former version. I was able to install the the PSCB - Base Resources, but am unable to install the PSCB - Bundle. I am getting an error that says the Plugin file contains an unrecognized file. I am also not seeing the tab in the left navigation menu.

I appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Tammy :)

Tammy Nye

The bundle zip contains all of the individual PSCB report plugins.
You need to expand the bundle zip file in order to see the individual plugin files.
You can then install and enable the report plugins you want to use.

Is it possible to have an option to add a period_info teacher_name to the low grades report? Ideally, we would select students advisor to be listed and that for us is one of the teachers in the student schedule (e.g. ADV(1)).

Sorry, but PSCB Development does not provide customization services for this type of request. If you have someone in the district with SQL knowledge, they should be able use CPM to add student advisor to the report.

I removed the old PSCB per the directions and reinstalled the new Base and upgraded plugins. However the attendance reports show 0 records no matter what parameters i use. Did I miss something necessary?

I need more information on your attendance setup to investigate this issue.

If you would like to schedule a Zoom session to review, please send your contact info to pscb.development@gmail.com.

Upon receipt, I will send you some available dates and times to conference.

I had the Custom Report Bundle and it worked well but I needed a new one so I deleted them and reinstalled every one of the reports. Now--I have no reports. What do I need to do? Thanks. Dianne Anderson andersond@mckenzieschools.org

From the Start Page navigate to:
Start Page > System Administrator > System Settings > Plugin Management Dashboard.

Confirm the following:
1. The PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page) plugin v2.1 is installed and enabled. A PSCB Custom Reports link show appear on Start Page left navigation menu.
2. Confirm that the plugins you installed have been enabled.

Yes--I have PSCB - Custom Reports (_Home Page) v 2.1 and it is enabled. I have the PSCB Custom Reports link in the left navigation menu. I have enabled the rest of the plugins for the reports as well. I only get Daily Attendance Codes, Meeting Attendance Code and Grade Reporting Terms--No reports. thanks.

Navigate to the Plugin Management page.
What individual PSCB Custom Reports plugins did you install and are they are listed on the page?

I see that you downloaded the PSCB - Custom Reports Bundle v1.4.zip plugin. Did you expand this plugin and then install the individual plugs it contained?

Yes I did. I have the Base Resources, Home Page, Attendance Enroll, Historical Grades, List Staff, List Students, PowerScheduler VR, Quick Contacts, Quick Lookup Tabs, Std Att Pages, Std Incidents Sum, Std Log Sum, Std Report Card, Std Requests FY, Std Score, Std, Test Scores, Student DB,

The plugins you installed are not reports, they are student custom pages.
Select a student. On the left navigation menu you will the see links for the custom pages you installed.

Good morning
We can run the discipline reports successfully at the school level. When we try to run them at a district level- it spins for 45 minutes and produces no results. I did notice the start and end date changed for the district default- We have uploaded the new version and were able to run these successfully in the past
What am I missing? We really need this data as we are a huge district!
Thanks
Jana

Confirm the following have been completed.

1. PSCB - Base Resources v3.6.1 plugin stalled in enabled.
2. PSCB - Custom Reports (Incidents) v1.1 plugin stalled in enabled.
3. Start and End dates have been entered for the 22-23 school year at the District level.

How many total students do you have enrolled in the district?

--

Are you asking for the start and end dates for 22-23 or for the current year we are in 2021-2022? Just wanted to double check
THANK YOU
jana

jana lankford

My mistake - should be 21-22.

PSCB Development

Yes- we have done all of those updates. We have 26000 students. The report pulls correctly for smaller schools but it no longer pulls for larger schools and the district. Another odd thing is the district opens up with different date ranges too
Thanks

jana lankford

Due to the enrollment size of the district and some schools, the query will experience a server timeout before the report is completed.

PSCB has no control over these timeouts when the query is run for a large number of students.
You will need to run the reports using a smaller selection of students. Try by grade level.

Hi, I would like to access the older versions, is there a repository for them? I am looking for the version where the reports were located in the System Reports, instead of on the left Nav bar.

The old CRB bundles are still available for download on PDS.

Note: These plugins are no longer supported by the original developers and in most cases do not work properly with the latest versions of PowerSchool.

All of these older plugins have been updated and replaced with currently available PSCB plugins. I would suggest you use the PSCB versions.

When I try to run the PSCB for Log Entries Summary, and I choose the Discipline Summary one, I get no data.

If I choose the Log Entries (no Discipline), I get them all, including Discipline.

I am looking for one that says like:
Dress Code 17
Fighting 23
Theft 3

etc...

How do I find that???

I need more information regarding this issue.

If you would like to schedule a Zoom session to review, I’m available on Wednesday, 5/3 at 1:00 pm (EST).
