PSCB - Customization Power Teacher (Attendance Report)

View PSCB Plugin Directory

Version 1.3

This customization adds an Attendance Report link to the left Navigation menu in PowerTeacher.

The Attendance Report provides student daily and meeting information for a selected date.

• The report defaults to the current date with an option to set a date range.

• The report only lists students enrolled in one or more of the teacher's currently assigned sections.

• The student name is linked to the student's current schedule.

This is a great bundle. We are high school district and we use meeting attendance. However, our teachers would like to access the daily attendance values as well. We set this up on our attendance preferences - For example- if the student is absent for more than 4 periods, consider his daily attendance to be zero. Is there a way we can add "Daily" YTD values at the top of this report?

I'm not quite clear on what you want added to the report. It would help if you can create a mock up showing the additional information you want to display. You can email it to

Thank you for another most excellent plugin/reports!

One quick question, an I totally understand if this isn't something you would want to add on the teacher side - but would it be possible to get Date Range added as well as the static date? That way teachers would be able to select either a singular day or just take a quick view over a date range.

Thanks either way!

A date range option has been added in version 1.1 of PSCB PowerTeacher (Attendance Report) plugin.

Great suggestion. Date Range will be included in the next release of the plugin. Scheduled for release next week.

I have many of the PSCB bundles installed, including version 3.0 of the base resources. This report doesn't show up in the lefthand nav for my teachers. I can manually go to the address, but do not see anything regarding Attendance Report in the menu.

I see in the wildcard something regarding if.gpv:tabname=attreport but I'm not sure what that is actually checking.

What am I missing here?

If the link does not appear, it could be the result of a conflict with another customization to PT left navigation menu. Check the wildcard folder to see if other left nav customizations exist.

Are we able to add the student number on here? Thanks!

Hi, we just plugged in the Covid Testing survey that BJT produced and published on the community. It says that it should align with your Base Reports, but when I plug that in, it removes this report from the left side of the screen, forces it up to the top right near the new plug ins yellow face icon. Ive reached out to that developer, but worried about others who may have this issue and wasnt sure there was something you guys could do too? Unclear whos "fault" this would be. Thanks!
