Comments

This is a great feature and my staff love it. Something to consider for a future release would be adding the "School Pickup" column. Thanks for making all of these great customization's available.

We noticed that the contact names when clicking on this icon come up in the correct priority order but the phone numbers for the contacts do not come up in priority order.
Maybe you know about this and it is on the next update?
Thank you!

Phone number priority will be addressed release. We also plan to add the School Pickup Flag.

Any thoughts as to why the icons would not be appearing?

Re-install and enable the plugin. Confirm that you have permissions to view the student contacts page.

We are noticing that all mothers, fathers and most emergency contacts are displaying twice. We've cleaned up all our duplicates in the contacts. Any reason it would be doing this? Marta Ellsworth

Navigate to a student that is displaying duplicates on the Quick Contacts screen.

Click on the Contacts link on the student left navigation menu. Do you also see the duplicates on the screen?

No I do not see duplicates when clicking on the contacts screen.

Please send a screen shot of the Students Contacts screen and the Quick Contacts screen for a selected student.

Send to: pscb.development@gmail.com

Thanks

This is a great plugin. However, it would be even better if the display didn't show No for those fields that are blank. Can it be changed to display Yes/No/or nothing, when the data hasn't been checked either way. Displaying No for those is a little misleading.

We will add this request to the PSCB enhancement list.

I too am having trouble with this plugin displaying. I am on PS version 12.4.2. I have deleted the plugins and reinstalled and still no luck. I have many PSCB plugins and never had issues before. Any thoughts?

I believe I have figured it out. I had customized the CSS file for two custom alerts. When I removed that customization all worked well. Now I just need to figure out how to make the custom alerts work. More Research!

But I don't see these reports. Where am I supposed to be seeing them?

d

This plugin is not a collection of reports. After installing the plugin, select a student. You should see a "people" icon in the student header. Click on the icon. A pop-up window will appear and display the contacts.

If you have a contact with an end date they are still showing on the Quick Contacts.

I installed this plugin and enabled it but the icon is not showing to click on for the pop up. I was wondering if it had anything to do with me creating a lot of custom alerts over the years.

If the icon is not showing that usually indicates a conflict with a previous customization.

Morning,
It would be great to also have student email in this icon. It could be the one stop shop for all contacts. Thanks!

Hello,
We recently implemented an image server following the official documentation, and additionally copied over the custom pages directory as well as some plugins seemed to rely on it.

However, now when we click on the icon on a student page, it just shows "no records found". Checking the network log in Chrome does not reveal any errors in the script loading, but its obviously not able to find the right information.

Any help would be appreciated.

This a server related issue that PSCB Development can not provide assistance to correct.

Hi, thank you for the response. With all due respect, I do not believe the issue is on our end.

We have correctly configured the server and it functions perfectly for all built in PowerSchool functions, as well as 99% of our plugins. This particular plugin is the only one we have noticed no longer works.

We have made sure to copy all the scripts, wildcards, etc folders onto the image server so they can still be accessed. It just seems the fact it is being called from a different location has broken the functionality. If you really cannot help it is understandable, but at least you should be aware that it will not work on an otherwise working image server.

Thanks for the feedback, we will explore the issue further. It will complicated to test, because we to not work any districts that are using an image server. Hopefully we can correct the issue you have encountered.

v1.9 is not working on my PS v20.11.2. It displays an error message box when you click on the icon. I reinstalled v1.8 just fine.

Download a new copy of version 1.9. Re-install and enable. If you continue to receive an error, please send a screenshot to pscb.development@gmail.com.

What determines if a contact displays in the alert? Some pull up correctly while others do not. One student only has 3 contacts and for some reason the mother is not listed when I click the alert but she is at the top when I click contacts.

The contact must have the active status box checked. If you use start and end dates, the current date must fall in that range.
