Add the popup alet in PowerTeacher Attendance

I am seeing if anyone has been successful in getting the pop up notification working for a custom alert in the PowerTeacher Attendance.

I have been successful in getting the alert to show in the teachers attendance but when they click on the alert I am not able to get alert to show. I am though able to get basic text to show. So when a teacher goes to their attendance they see the custom alert I have created. They can click on the alert and see the Plain text popup window that give instruction on how to view the custom alert. I would like it to be much like the medical alert. The teacher sees the alert in their attendance and clicks on it and the pop up window shows the medical alert for that student.

I have the alert working like that in all other places except the Teachers Attendance. Any help in this manner would be very grateful
