With the new version of PowerSchool that came out over the summer, I had to go in and edit course availability for each course. Some courses that were available in the 2012-13 school year were carried over to the 2013-2014 school year, but others were not, and I had to edit them manually.
I asked Peason (submitted support case) if I had to edit availability for all courses again next year, and was told this:
"It looks like you will have to add the courses availability each year, but the good news is this can be done in mass.
You must be at the District Office when doing this. Navigate to District > Courses, select the courses (Check the corresponding boxes), then click the button at the bottom: "Edit Availability for Schools and Years"."
I can do this in mass as they suggest, but it looks like I have to make the courses available to ALL schools (even if the school does not offer the course).
Is there any way to force courses offered in a school this year to be "inherited" next year?
Is this a problem for anyone else?
