Extended Tables

Is there a way to access extended table via APEX or through a directly SQL connection via SQL Developer?

If so, does anyone have a procedure/protocol for this that they can share?

A number of our State based information tables are housed in Extended Tables, although some appear to be accessible via APEX, not all of them appear to be. Does anyone have a possible fix for this?

** We are specifically trying to get information out of our State based Log table however because we are unable to figure out a way to do this through enterprise reporting we have only been able to get the data using either the State based report extracts or the Data Export Manager and dumping the data into Excel.**
