Comments

Is this plugin for PowerTeacher or PowerTeacher Pro?

The PSCB - Custom Reports (Grading) plugin was designed for use with PowerTeacher Pro.

The Stored Grades reports included in the bundle will work regardless of which grade book is being used.

My Principals like to use the update status report to see what teachers have not updated grades in the last 14 days. For the most part, we are getting great results, but I have at least one teacher that is showing assignments created within the last few days that is being flagged on that report as well. Any suggestions on what I could look into?

Did the teacher enter grades for for the assignments? If not, enter a grade, save and check to see if the status has changed.

They entered standards grades. Could it be because they don't enter traditional grades? I didn't really think about it because none of the teachers enter traditional grades in that school, but most of them are not showing on the report.

The PSCB Custom Reports (Grading) bundle is for traditional grade books only.

You need to use the PSCB Custom Reports (Standards) bundle for standards base grade books.

I do also have that installed, but I am not seeing anything that gives me that ability to see when teachers last updated the gradebooks in the standards bundle. Is there something I am missing?

The Gradebook - Update Status in the PSCB Custom Reports (Grading) bundle should also work for teachers using standards in PT Pro.

It is working- some of the time. It is also catching some teachers that have clearly put in assignments after what appears in the "last updated" column, so it's giving admin false information. I was wondering if anyone had ideas as to why.

Is there any way that I can make this specific report available to teachers through PowerTeacher? Specifically, our coaches are set up as 'teachers' for their teams. I am trying to allow them to run a report that shows if a student is failing any classes. I know this is the report I can run at an admin level, but I am looking for something teachers can run through PowerTeacher. Does that make sense?

PSCB has no plans to make this report available in PowerTeacher,

I would suggest that you generate the report on the Admin Level, Save as PDF, and distribute to the staff that needs this grading information.

Is there a plan to make the report filters dynamic? For example, when looking at the Stored Grades - Summary report, if I pick a teacher from that dropdown, the course choices aren't reflecting the course names that are associated with that particular teacher. Instead, it's just showing me all the available courses.

Not at this time. I will this request to the PSCB enhancement list.

Is there anyway to edit the stored grade search report? I would like to be able to have the address for parents and parent names included so we can send out letters from the report?

Sorry, that is not customization enhancement that PSC can provide.

Would it be possible to add sections with no assignment (and therefore, no grade) to the Gradebook - Missing Grades report? This would be a huge time saver for the school administrators and our student accountability team!

Our school administrators are very confused by this report because it does not include teachers who haven't created any assignments. I know they can view the Gradebook - Update Status to see if a teacher has done any updates but the process is too cumbersome for them. Other ideas and suggested will be appreciated.
