Stored Grades Display Duplicates

Forums:

I have run into something that has Pearson support stumped

The Quick Lookup for S1 is displaying both the Percent and the Grade when I choose to display Historical rather than Gradebook.

This is happening with Year Long Courses stored as S1 for mid term.
The mid term mark is stored once

We have suppress Letter Grade ticked in Final Grade ( we tried both ticking suppress letter, and then suppress percent, and still get 2 marks showing)

If I go into Historical and delete either the percent or grade then it shows correctly, but will show both if they are both in the historical grade

We want the column to show stored marks for Year Long classes as a Mid Term Mark
But we dont want both marks to show.
Anyone else have this happen?

This is our second year on PS, maybe I just noticed this now....

Paddy,
In the Quick Lookup screen, the grade and percent will both appear, so it will appear to have the grade twice. For example, if the student made a 98, and your state or district requires numeric grades, then it will be 98 as the grade and 98 as the percent. Now you can suppress the Grade "aka Letter Grade" from this view, but it is school by school. You can mass change the Letter Grade field in the Historical Grades table, but remember that this will only affect report cards and transcripts if you do this. PowerTeacher gradebooks are in the Milan tables, which are not visable in DDA.
