Unsubmitted Attendance Alert

Recently we've had a push from administration to be better about attendance. Most teachers take it, some don't, and some forget occasionally. I was wondering if there is a way to alert a teacher if:

1) they have a class scheduled for the current period

2) they have not submitted attendance within a specified time frame (maybe 10 minutes from the beginning of class)

This way the teachers who do take attendance won't be bothered, and the teacher who forgot 1 time out of the whole semester won't get talked to by administration for not taking attendance.

Great Idea, would love to have this alert

Did anything ever come of this? I have been asked to work on this problem as well.

This is very needed in my district as well, do we have any updates on this?
